Who We Are We at Blessed Sacrament Academy are an academic community especially conscious of the needs of our at-risk families. Since the changing structure of the nuclear family weighs heavily, especially on the single head of household, who often experienced negative or misinformation on training in how to parent children, BSA responds to this community need through a diverse mix of programs:

Child DevelopmentCenter, for children 6 weeks to 5 years old. Blessed Sacrament Academy provides exceptional childcare for children of both working parents and parents continuing their education.  Most children enrolled are from low-income families who receive tuition assistance enabling the parents to increase their job skills.  Knowing that their children are getting quality childcare. the parent can focus on parenting and job skills with greater success.

Parents' Academy Was founded in 1994 to provide parents with information and support through the joys and challenges of family life.  "A helping hand for today's parent". Precious Minds New Connections ia a new feature to Parent's Academy.  10 session programs for families who are expecting or have a child from birth to age 3.  Learn about your child's growth and development, positive discipline and more! This program is sponsored by the Kronkowsky Charitable Foundation.

SSFCCSouthside Family Counseling Center addresses the need for individual counseling, anger management, conflict resolution, young fathers and mothers groups in our neighborhood.  Family Violence Prevention Program addresses the family system in order to decrease abuse and violence in the family. Reconnecting Youth Project addresses substance abuse and disconnection of our youth from productive society.
